About Us
Micrometal S.R.L. is a zamak die casting contract manufacturer founded in 1991 in Erbusco, in the heart of the Brescia province in Northern Italy. For over three decades we have been manufacturing precision zinc alloy components using the hot chamber die casting process, an ideal technology for producing high-quality parts with tight tolerances down to 0.05 mm.
Our production department features 11 hot chamber presses with clamping force from 25 to 90 tons, operating on two shifts Monday to Friday. Monthly production capacity is approximately 75,000 kg of die cast components in zamak alloys ZP3, ZP5, ZP2 and ZP8.
We serve demanding industrial sectors such as locks and security (40% of revenue), automotive, gas valves and regulators, electronics and EMI shielding, furniture and lighting, instrumentation and sensors. All our processes are ISO 9001:2015 certified by TÜV Italia and we have completed the ESG Synesgy 2024 assessment.
We continuously invest in energy sustainability: our 263 kWp photovoltaic system covers a significant portion of our production needs, and we are pursuing ISO 14001 certification for our environmental management system.
