MICROMETAL S.R.L., with over 30 years of experience, manufactures precision technical components in primary zinc alloys (Zamak) using hot chamber die casting and micro die casting for third parties, with a strong specialisation in the locks and automotive sectors.
Micrometal warranty: we manufacture tools designed for over 400,000 guaranteed shots, with zero accidents in the last 5 years and an average tool life of 2 million shots on our main tooling. All batches are tracked with FAI documentation and 100% dimensional inspection plan.

Our Process
1. Design and Prototyping
We collaborate with the client from the initial phase. Thanks to 3D prototyping, the Technical Department identifies the optimal shapes, necessary draft angles and verifies the feasibility of wall thicknesses before starting production.
2. Mould Design
From the executive drawings we create the mathematical model for the exact evaluation of the component. The position of the gates, ejectors and vents is optimised to ensure functionality and aesthetic quality.
3. Die Casting
With 11 hot chamber presses (from 20 to 90 tonnes) and primary zinc alloys ZP3, ZP5, ZP2 and ZP8, we produce components from 0.5 g to 1.5 kg with tolerances down to 0.05 mm.
4. Finishing and Quality Control
We perform sandblasting, vibratory finishing and thermal deburring. For surface finishes (painting, galvanic treatments) we work with qualified partners. The entire process is monitored by the ISO 9001 certified quality system.
