Micrometal die casts zamak on hot chamber presses, the technology used for the zinc alloys ZP3, ZP5, ZP2 and ZP8 of the EN 12844 standard. In the robotic cells the part is extracted, inspected by high-definition camera and placed on a conveyor belt in a continuous cycle. Production capacity is 75,000 kg per month; moulds are stored in 3 vertical warehouses with a total capacity of 200,000 kg.

We have the best machines for zamak die casting, zinc alloys of different sizes suited to specific tasks. Agrati, Frech and Italpresse are our solid partners guaranteeing quality and safety for a true Made in Italy product. Our machine fleet includes 11 machines: 7 hot chamber standalone presses and 4 robotic cells, with clamping forces from 20 to 90 tonnes.

Five Agrati Z Line presses — one 20-tonne unit and four 30-tonne units — for hot chamber die casting of zinc alloys. Ideal for precision components from 0.01 to 0.5 kg with high repeatability.

Which zinc alloys do you process?

We work the 4 main alloys per EN 12844 standard: ZP3 (zamak 3), ZP5 (zamak 5), ZP2 (zamak 2), ZP8 (zamak 8). Selection depends on application (mechanical strength, hardness, aesthetic finish, creep behavior).
Which tonnage for which part?

Tonnage is selected based on part weight and projected area: 20-30t for micro-components 5-50g (fashion, electronics), 30-50t for medium parts 50-200g (locks, valves), 50-90t for large parts 200-700g (automotive, structural). Dimensional details validated with our DFM team.
