Micrometal S.r.l. is deeply committed to production quality and environmental and social responsibility. Since 2002, our management system has been certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001, ensuring the highest standards at every stage: from mould design to zamak hot chamber die casting, through to final inspection. Since 2024, we also participate in the ESG Synesgy programme, the internationally recognised sustainability assessment platform.

ISO 9001:2015 Certification

The UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, issued by TÜV Italia S.r.l. (certificate no. 50 100 1984), confirms the compliance of our quality management system for:

  • Manufacture of zinc die castings according to customer specifications
  • Design and manufacture of moulds for zinc die castings (IAF 17)

Our quality system

All internal production and external processing are carried out and recorded under our ISO 9001 certified quality management system. Every die-cast component is traced from raw material to finished product, ensuring dimensional tolerances down to 0.05 mm and repeatability across batches from thousands to millions of parts. Our system includes:

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) on critical casting parameters
  • Calibrated measuring instruments (gauges, micrometers, profile projectors)
  • Full traceability of production batches and raw materials
  • Non-conformity management with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Periodic internal audits and annual management reviews

ESG Synesgy Assessment

Micrometal has completed the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) assessment on the Synesgy platform, the benchmark standard for sustainable supply chains. The questionnaire covers the period 01/01/2024 – 31/12/2024 and analyses our environmental, social and corporate governance performance.

Hot chamber die casting requires rigorous control of every process variable: molten metal temperature (approx. 400°C), injection speed, holding pressure and cooling time. A structured quality management system like ours ensures consistent mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances and surface finish on every single part produced, regardless of batch size.
