Is zamak resistant to break-ins?
Zamak components offer high mechanical strength (up to 330 MPa with Zamak 5), superior to many plastics and comparable to some aluminium alloys.
What finishes are available for lock components?
Chrome plating, nickel plating, painting, burnishing and PVD. Each finish provides different levels of corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance.
